I traveled as per my plan and wish to share my experience with our members.
I contacted one M/S Visu Travels, Mr.Chenthuran Phone 09791386367,08220386367. one week in advance and hired for 6 hrs. Rs1100/= At 6.00 A.M I reached KUMBAKONAM, and stright to Tirunageswaram. Took bath in Teple tank, had darshan and at 7.30 A.M. left for Tirucherai. Had darshan, and the temple offered Aval Kesai, pongal, and Panchamritham. Then went to Ohai Mariamman and then at 11.30 went to Suryanar koil. Being Sunday there a heavy rush and the temple gate opened till 1.30 P.M. From Suryanar koil left for Mayuram, I already made several calls and reserved for Western type toilet, a family A/C room in S.M Lodge. They said they will charge Rs 175 extra per person, and won't give bed. Soon I reached the hotel, the hotel management/ Reception showed a room which was not up to my expectation and I wanted the clerk to allot a good room. They were harsh in their approach, and when I was sitting in the reception they put off light and fan saying they are saving electricity, and since I am not an occupant of the room, I must vacate the premises, as otherwise their boss will sout at them! What a man! then I went to hotel New Selva, which is few feet away and took a room which was very decent. I went to la hotel for lunch and next day morning went to Vaitheeswarn koil. Then left for hotel vacated the room, left for Kanjanoor via AAduthurai. From AAduthrai the auto charged Rs100/= , their I preformed abhishegam to Subramanyar. The contact numbers of the Asst at temple office Mr.Ananth,9943412133 - Temple Sivachar 9443463119; 9787329460. Being adi Krithigai I visied this temple. Then returned to AAduthurai bus stand there is hotel, SITA RAMAN where meals were good. The trip was memorable one!
