my elder sister's brother in law (husband's brother )passed away recently on 19/03/2012. we are planning to conduct a sumangali prarthana on 29/06/2012,kindly clarify whether she can participate or can it be performed with other sister/s.upanayanam of my brother's son is sheduled on 05/07/2012,

Only for this time your elder sister should not participate. for one year that is upto march 2013. your other sisters can participate .
