kAma-akSi is the 'root tip' of all kinds of excitations (kAmA) that bind & evolve the Universe. Hence she is addressed as kAma-koTi, the cusp/tip of all kAmA. Her excitations manifest as excitations of energy as well as excitations of consciousness. In this stotram we invoke kAmAkSi to excite consciousness, bestow speech to the deprived and wise.
As the root-tip of all excitations, she resides in the center of Sri-Chakra, destroying evil, bestowing speech to the deprived. All devas (who make this Universe), Munis (who guide its evolution), all the honorable manifestations are subjected to her excitations.She powerfully rises from depths of hearts of sAdhus, making them expressive to destroy foolishness and diseases. She is expressive half of witnessing Shiva, manifesting Universe as (his) family history with son Skanda wrapping the Universe.
We invoke that kAmAkSi with bhakti to give us that ability of expression, using which we praise her.
