sometimes is funny, trying to understand as to how has medicine evolved, things that we have been doing for generations are now taboo.... I am told not to climb stairs, I heard it screws up the knees, I am told not to sit crossed legged, whereas whole generations of Brahmins, have literally grown up crossed legs.(including the mamis)....early morning capi I understand on a empty stomac is harmfull, yet to see a medical case in all these years of capi drinking :)

I have heard that Bharat Natyam causes Plantar Fascitis: Plantar Fasciitis - Symptoms, Treatments, Causes of Plantar Fasciitis - from WebMD

Yes Sir! But the Bharathanatyam dancers have to start the basis steps with 'arai mandi' posture! :)

immaterial of whom i am quoting and whatever i am writing, the reason for the post is the pic just above me!

any study needs to be evaluated in the context of the geography or environment in which the study was done.

for any disease 3 things are important

1. a causative agent ( say Kapi )
2. Ur environment ( if u r a FINLAND national u will have genes for one particular blood vessel disease )
3. U ( if u smoke in addition to kapi u will burn ur stomach more )

whatever that means!
