He is one of the fearless, greatest administrator the country has witnessed. He could take on powerful politicians on his own. He is probably an inspirational persons to many of the younger generation. May his soul rest in peace.

(Late) T.N.Seshan IAS, was great administrator who left his stamp in what ever capacity he worked. He was the Cabinet secretary under (late) Rajiv Gandhi.
E. Sreedharan the "Metroman"and T.N.Seshan were classmates at BEM High School and Victoria College in Palakkad. Both of them were selected for Engineering in Kakinada university in Andhra Pradesh, however E. Sreedharan decided to pursue it, while T. N. Seshan decided to join Madras Christian College and branched of to IAS like his elder brother T.N.Lakshmi narayan.
He was a no-nonsense man. (Late)Seshan, managed to stamp his authority on the country's electoral system during his term as the country's 10th Chief Election Commissioner from 1990 to 1996, and brought back faith in the Indian electoral system at a time when Indian elections were synonymous with booth rigging and misuse of government machinery.

He was devoted to Kachi Pramacharya.
May his soul rest in peace.
