It is an immense pleasure to be part of this group and would like to inform about the proposed Nava chandi maha yagam to be held on on Oct 20 & 21.
History of Temple as follows ;
This is the temple situated at vadalur , Cuddalore district.
Temple started in the year 1963 with blessings of maha periyava. My father (Late Shri Swaminatha shivachariyarr) used to say maha periyava has laid foundation stone and did foundation pooja during patha yathra on this way.
Sri selva vinayagar is prathana moorthy , then in 1973 Navagraha prathishtai was done in presence of RVenkatraman ( ex Ind minister) then 9 years appa did prarthanai for subramaniar . In 1982 lord shanmugar with devis were installed and kumbabhishekam performed in presence of krubanantha variyar.
After that performed Poojai for Durgai in the photo of ashtadasa buja mahalakshmi durga devi for 14 years.
In 1995 with blessings of Santhanantha swamigal ( salem skandashramam) and in his presence sree ashta dasa buja Mahalakshmi Durga Devi were installed and kumbabhishekam performed .
From 1989 onwards Nava chandi maha yagam is being performed during navarathri time every year in grand manner.
With request of local devotees and there is no sivan temple at vadalur. So during the year 2003 Kanagambika sametha abathsahayeawarar swamy prathishtai was performed along with lord narishmar .
In 2013 sivagami ambiga sametha anantha natrajar temple was constructed and kumbabhishekam performed .
Temple contains of asta bairvar with sakthis along with swarnaakarshana bairavar.
Lord Dharma sastha and jaya veera anjaneyar prathishtai was performed during the year 1990.
Regularly Poojai is being performed daily .
Major functions ;
Sankadahara chathurithi homam and abhishekam,
Ashta bairavar homam and abhishekam on every krishnapaksha ashtami
Rahu kala pooja to Durgai on every Friday
Pradosha Poojai to swamy ambal
Swathi abhisekam to narasimhar.
These are all regular monthly program.
Apart from it every year
Chathur laksha japa homam was performed around 20 years to selva vinayagar with lakhs of mothagam homam with sahasara kalasa abhishekam to selva vinayagar.
From 1972 to 1990 every year lakcharchanai was performed to selva vinayagar and also to Navagraha moorthi during sani peyarchi and guru peyarchi.
Chandi homam during navarathri time is being performed for last 40 yrs
13 days brahma utsovam to swamy ambal during chithrai masam
Skanda shasti and soora samharam utsavam is being conducted to shanmuga subramaniar.
Natrajar abhisekam regularly.
Recently appa attained siddhi .
Now swamy has given an opportunity to us to take care of temple activities and poojas.

Now this year with ambal anugraham Nava chandi maha yagam to held on coming 20 & 21 st of this month for wellness of universe and lokashemartham
