MY Mother´s shradham tithi is THAI Masam Krishnapaksha Dwadasi day. Accordingly, my mother´s next year shradham date is marked on the 12-02-2018 by our family Vadhyar/Purohit. When I searched the web for the shradham date in on the website of Drik Panchang (sradha tithi calculator) it is giving the date as 13th January 2018. I am confused and hence request you to help and assess the correct date of shradham of my mother

My mother´s D.O.D was 05-02-2016 at 02.30 am at Thiruvaiyaru-Thanjavur (tamilnadu-India)

The general rule to know the shraardha day is 1. Month 2. Paksham (sukla/Krishna) and 3) thithi . These parameters correspond to the time of death of the individual for whom shraardham is performed.
