Tamil Nadu in fact is Pioneer of such extravaganza to be follwed by others - உலக தழிழ் மாநாடு - செம் மாெழி bash & சங்கம் of கனி மாெழி - சதய விழா 1000th birthday of இராஜ ராஜ சாேழன் etc exhibition of Mass cultureral Madness! We are proud about that!

What we have in delhi is a culture that brahmins are familiar with and music and dances they relish.

Recitations are from vedas . Orchestrations are with hundereds of indian musical insruments with classical music base.

Dances forms are of higher castes .

This Swami cult is promoted and patronised by higher english speaking indians.

Many followers of AOP are from these classes of indians.

You will not find adivasis, dalits or others of similar backgrounds ..

Returning to the subject of the thread, Mallya is right when he says conditions are not conducive for return to india.

He has undergone trial by the media and condemned without a trial.

His ex employees think they can get their dues by slogan shouting and joining the banks witch hunt.

Unless some misdemeanour is proved like he siphoned of the funds illegally etc , there is no criminal misconduct.

It might atbest breach of a civil contract between the banks and his airline.

All loans and restructuring of loans were done by banks .

Banks gave loans willingly -may be under political pressure.Yet to be proven.

Bank executives , if they did not do due diligence are as much to blame .

King fisher is a limited liability company .

Mallyas liability is to the extent of his share holdings.

None of his personal property might be touched if they are made part of a trust.

Banks have no alternative except to negotiate with him.

Of course he can be booked on minor charges of not depositing PF contributions or TDS of employees.

Misappropriation charges may not hold in court.

Only his life has been made difficult.

Who gains by all this?

Total stressed assets of PSU banks is 62000 crores by top defaulters.

There are many others who have followed Mallyas path.

If any squeeze is put on them, banks credibility will get hurt.

Which bank officer will stick his neck out and lend to a corporate?

All this does not bode well for banking sector in india.

By bringing fights like this into public domain to wash dirty linen speaks poorly of the banking industry.

PSU banks will become like Air india.

All will be ashamed to be called bankers.

Just simply pass the buck on to the surety who have signed and go to Swiss and enjoy the break at Alps. lol

The banks will now come out with routine proposals to waive the loan amount

And the Government on their part will seriously consider proposals to bail out Kingfisher Airlines!!

It is the public money, it is their deposit about which no one is going to be serious.

While enjoying the break, for heaven sake, spare some thought as to how to avail huge amount of fresh loans from the Public Sector Banks again when on return at right/ripe time. It is still possible.

When the loans are sanctioned go a temple and offer donation amounting to several lakhs.

But don't pay due salaries to the staff employed.

Banks could have got two signatures of Mallayya in the documents............................ One in his fiduciary capacity as MD / Chairman of the borrowing company and the other in his personal capacity as Mallyya, the surity / guarantor of the said loan.
