I am a Tamil Brahmin.I belong to krishna yajurvedham.I follow the sathyashada suthram.It is one of the shat suthrams(six)of yajur vedham. My gothram is MATARA GOTHRAM.In abivadhaye I call three Rishis ie.NAITHRUVAR,KASHYAPAR, MATARAR.Like Boudhayana and Abasthamba Sathyashada suthram is not folowed by large number.But in legent we find the Sathyashada suthra karikai is eloborative.The Abasthamba suthra karikai is mostly followed and The Rishi Abasthamber himself quote Sathyashada karikai as reference in several instances.(As mentioned in VAIDHYA NATHA DHEEKSHITHEEYAM.)
