I would appreciate a description of this(sashtiya purthi)("Aruvatham kalyanam") ceremony, the origin of the ritual, and the description of the ritual in the vedas, who does what and the chronological order of the function - or if someone could direct me to a site that has all the information on the ritual , that would be welcome.
