Sashti poorthi 60th kalyanam missed. How to perform 70th?

Vanakkam everyone. We missed out performing the sashti poorthi for our parents when my dad attained his 60 years. Now he will soon be 70 and we wish to perform the ceremony in a traditional and spiritual fashion. I am writing to ask your advice on how to conduct this puja at 70 years. They do not wish to go to Thirukkadaiyur since it has become very commercial. Your advices and experiences are welcome. I am Hindu but not a brahmin though.
