Generally in our house we follow lighting lamps in view of celebraion of Sarvaalaya Deepam, so would like to confirm the same for this year in Dec 2019 , on which date the Sarvaalaya deepam celebration is scheduled in Tamilnadu. Thanks

Yes. It happens like the Upakarmas of Rg and Yajur Vedis. For fewer people the Bharani or ANNAMALAI DEEPAM is primary. We being Thiruvannamalai Brahacharanam, we follow this. But larger group Sarvalaya DEEPAM is important

Actually a combo of Kartikai and Pournami.
