Sandhyavandan & Upakarma

Whether sandhyavandan can be done on top floor open terrace of the house (not flat but own house)

Just like above, whether upakarma (avani avittom) can be done on top floor open terrace of the house

Please advise, as many vaadhyars' opinions differs on the above

you may do on the open terrace sandhya vandhanam and upakarma.. sarma sastrikal says itmis o.k. in you tube . after having bath in river we used to do sandhya vandhanam and gayathri japam on the banks of the river. only for agni homam you should not in the place where there is open terrace.
