[h=1]Samba attack: BSF says militants used a tunnel to infiltrate into India[/h][h=2]DG KK Sharma said they found 517 rounds, a pistol, and an AK-47 rifle among other things.[/h][h=2]The Border Security Force on Wednesday said that a tunnel along the International Border was used by militants to enter India during the recent Samba attack. BSF Director General KK Sharma said that they had anticipated that an infiltration through a tunnel, reported ANI.[/h][h=2]Three militants were killed in the general area of BSF Border Outpost Chamliyal after some suspicious movement was noticed by thermal imagers. The DG said that the BSF had already deployed underground check posts in depth, through which the soldiers spotted the militants and neutralised them.[/h][h=2]“Post surgical strikes, we started operation called ‘Operation Rustom’, as we had anticipated that the problems won’t be confined to Line of Control, it will affect International Boundary too,” Sharma said.
