samashti upanayanam in US

We do SAMASHTI [MASS FREE] Upanayanam in chennai and Tamilnadu periodically to help community.
In US can it be extended?
Many Brahmins [young and old]
go without Poonool in US due to several reasons.
Samaskara need to be done.
A few popular temples can float this idea to get opinion.

Namaskaram. My name is Ganesh. I want to conduct Upanayanam for my son through Samashti Upanayanams conducted through our community services. We have plan to do th function between Jan 2011 and June 2011 in CHENNAI. Since I want to do on strictly on customs basis with out being as social function as per our Kanji Periyava.
