sadabishekam are the samskarams that landmarks in married life. Celebrating these functions is also a way to express gratitude to God who has blessed the family with happiness. The couple is personified as Parameswara and Parvathi.Sasthram says that while performing sadhabishekam the husband should have had the fotune of seeing the waxing and waning of the noon a thousand times
