My mother will be completing her 80 years of age during Oct 2016. Whether the Sathabisekham is to be performed on her star birth day or I have to wait and perform on completion of 80 years and 8 months (Ayiram Pirai). Kindly enlighten me in this regard. with regards v.ramanathan

you have to perform after completing 80years and 8 months. do it in utharayanam which is best.

I hope Your parents are alive. In that case you hove to perform Sathabisekam after completion of 80 years abd 8 months.
Before that if ou waant todo any homam you can do Aysya homam, Mrithunjaya homam Navagraha homam etc due to good health
and long live of your mother and do abisekam with that theerham. if possibe do dhanams as you can.
