next day to pillaiyar chathurthi day RISHI PANCHAMI VRATHAM will be celebrated in olden days.
Eligibility to do rishi panchami vratham sukla patcha chathurthi vratham and aswatha pradakshinam vratham (udhyapanam) must be finished . those who have finished these vrathams are only neligible to do rishi panchami vratham.
THIS VRATHAM will be done as per vratha pooja vidhanam book. why ladies should do this . Explanation is there in the book vradha pooja vidhanam. If anybody is interested nin doing this they can start now sukla chathurthi vratham on 11 9 2010. FOR THIS MONTH REQUEST YHE VADHYAR TO DO SANKALPAM as sukla chathurthi vratha ganesa pooja.
From next month , every sukla chathurthy (4th day after amavasai) day the same pooja as you are doing this pooja(11-9-2010) must be done for one year. On the next year pillayar chathurthy day udhyapanam (finishing of this vratham) must be done, as per vradha choodamani book . Requirements for udhyapanam and pooja details will be given by me if required in detail in advance.for the interested people to be ready with required articles well in advance.
For aswatha (Arasa mara) pradhakshinam also I will give all details here well in advance. Also go through the book cook and see written by Meenakshi ammal 3rd volume about the details of rishi panchami vratham.
