Bramins need .....vadyars/purohits in their houses only on a few occasions and they perform happily /donate dakshina and forget.
This is the gist of hindu religion otherwise we forget bramin vadyar.
For this the bramins should undergo strenuous patasala education for 7 years
from the age of 7y.
After completion at 15 y he has to serve under a local vadyar to learn Prayoga [which is not taught in patasala] for atleast 3 years outside and then only start indipendant practice!
Nowadays there is no attraction for patasala education.
For grihastas they need bramin vadyars only on a few occations like Amavasai tarpan,poojas,puniavasanam,poonool,seemandam,marriage,jatakaranam,namakaranam and so on.
We need to concentrate more on prayogam training in religious practice.
