'Ram Will Ensure no Harm Comes': Adityanath Govt Okays Mega Fair in Time of Coronavirus

Even as multiple state governments are looking to prevent a coronavirus epidemic in their respective states, the Adityanath-led BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has gone ahead with approving a mega-event at Ayodhya on the occasion of Ram Navami.

The Ram Navami Mela or fair will be held from March 25 to April 2 and is likely to attract millions of devotees.

What is surprising is that the state government decided to hold the fair despite having been professionally advised against it.

The chief medical officer of Ayodhya had requested the government to cancel the event in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Deccan Herald quoted chief medical officer Ghanshyam Singh as having said, “We simply do not have the necessary resources to screen such a large number of people.”

This runs contrary to PM Modi's appeal.
Modi appeals for self-imposed janata curfew on Sunday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged India’s 1.3 billion citizens to put themselves under self-curfew on Sunday to protect themselves from the coronavirus, hours after the government announced it was barring all international flights from landing in the country for a week starting March 22.

The announcement came as the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 173 on Thursday.

Like the Turkish PM....he is not closing any mosque cos he said he believes in Allah.
Pity his country!

That way the Saudis have brains..they closed down for umrah/hajjand no one can enter to circumbulate Kabah.

Adinath yogi and the Turkish PM are putting lives in danger...ignorant and selfish.

As a muslim the Turkish PM should know the hadith that says " tie your camel and leave the rest to God and also another hadith that says " if there is a plaque in another place , do not enter it and if the plaque is in your own place, do not leave it"

So clear about disease control yet the Turkish PM seems ignorant.

Coming to Adinath Yogi..being a Hindu he doesnt even need a fatwa or hadith or a smirti to tell him what to do.

He should just firstly listen to the PM and secondly use logic and common sense.
A Hindu functions on logic and not a set of rules...sadly he has no thinking capability.

There is no dearth for circulating fake news... misleading information, spreading poison in the minds of readers, etc etc

Another bundle of lies unleashed

The problem is not just that rumour mongers exist, but that they are patronised and encouraged by people who blindly follow them.

Rumour mongers are considered as anti-social elements

Grand Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya was planned this year as it is the first Ram Navami after the historic Supreme Court verdict that handed over the Ram Janmabhoomi site to Hindus

The grand Ram Navami Mela that was scheduled to be held in Ayodhya from 25th March to 2nd April, has been cancelled. VHP sources have confirmed to OpIndia that the mela will not be held on its scheduled dates, and a formal announcement will be made soon. The VHP plans to install a Ram idol in a bullet-proof glass structure on March 25. VHP president Alok Kumar told ThePrint that postponing the event was not an option. “The shifting of Bhagwan Ram from the makeshift tent to the chabutara (platform) is long due. It’s a shubh muhurat on 24-25 March and the event can’t be deferred,” he said.

That is not fake news. Pressure from higher up worked for the good sense. But the OP is not fake.
Just check your timeline.

Wishful thinking. Please remember Ram and Krishna had their ending when the purpose of their avatar was fulfilled. So human being can't be just blind and stupid to not take precautions. Those who believe the above title should be sent to Italy or Iran to tset out their theories. They may or may not survive we don;t know.
