I have a question related to performing devasam. A family member of mine is intending to marry a girl from another caste. His father is no more. His mother was claiming that he cannot perform devasam for his father for this very reason.
Is it true that because he is going to marry a girl from another caste, he will be denied the rights to perform devasam for his late father ? Is there a specific reason for this ?
Can all members please give their expert thoughts on this ?
