my sambandi's punya thithi is falling on October 22 according to our pambu panchangam,,,,my daughter in US must do this on 21 st or 22nd?,,,please advise,,,thank you

There is no separate Shraddha thithi. If You know the death date ,you can find out the thithi based on time of death on that day. Your daughter should check when the same thithiis falling on which date and carry out the shraddam. Be mindful of the Krishna pachsham or sugka paksham. That is if he had died before Ammavasai or after Ammavasai. Valar pirai issukka Paksham and Theipirai is Krishna Pachsham.
