The property left behind by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was as below:

He owned 6 pants (2 DRDO uniforms)
4 shirts (2 DRDO uniforms) 3 suits (1 western, 2 Indian)
2500 books
1 flat (which he has donated)
1 Padmashri
1 Padmabhushan
1 Bharat Ratna
16 doctorates
1 website
1 twitter account
1 email id
He didn't have any TV, AC, car, jewellery, shares, land or bank balance.
He had even donated the last 8 years' pension towards the development of his village.
He was a real patriot and true Indian.......
India will for ever be grateful to you, sir..
Is there any politician to compare with him?
MAY BE IN say in the next 100 years?

Everything is fine with the above article except for comparing Dr.Abdul Kalam with a Politician . Why ? He was not a politician but a Scientist / Teacher who became a President .Why not the same yardstick be applied to every Indian ? By Challeging a politician to live up to the standards of Abdul Kalam we conveniently escape ourselves from such a scrutiny .

No doubt Kalam was a good citizen of India. But it is better to avoid making comparison

My respect for Abdul Kalam has come down a few notches after coming to know that he was a disciple of the Botchasan vasi monk who hates women coming nearby. That does not speak well for a rocket-expert!

The Swami is not a misogynist..He is a follower of his religion which ordains him not to come in touch with a female...So what is wrong with that...You have similar stuff in Islam & Christianity too!

I am not concerned with Islam, Christianity, etc. But if a swamiji of any religion has the foolishness to say women are polluting and should be kept safely away, then that swamiji is a hypocrite or foolish and people who claim they have realized transcendence under such swamis also are not good fellows.

sir,

as for dr abdul kalam, he had respected women and womenhood.

may i know why the shortcomings of his master make you go down on your esteem of dr kalam?

Dr. Kalam is a rarest of rare and during his lifetime he did not expect respect from anybody ; but he respected everybody,
