# 61. The dreadnought.

It was always a happy thought,
That fate had us together brought!

This idea by me, was well bought;
And togetherness was all I sought!

Now for reasons next to naught ;
Constant wars are being fought!

It looks like an emotional drought,

It feels like pain of a neck wrought,

Realized I in a deep afterthought,
It is best to become a dreadnought.

# 62. The Blow and the Glow.

There was this strange fellow,
A moment of peace will not allow;

Inside, he was a person yellow,
And his love was very shallow;

He made his loyal wife swallow,
Insults streaming out in a flow;

Age should have made him mellow,
But it did in fact add to his bellow;

His wit would work very slow,
He loved to hit, her belt below;

He would his routine follow,
A bachelor's life all aglow;

He would tell his loyal wife,
"Mother of five! Enjoy life!"

The wife had got tired and sick,
Thought it was time to hit back;

"Oh dear Father of three!
Go and enjoy Scot free!"

Now that was a real blow,
Too big for him to swallow!

He came to senses, bent low,
Never again left his bungalow.

[A story, by my father told,
As a poem, by me retold!]

You haste away so soon. :whoo:

# 62. WORDS THAT CARESS.

The tyrant has determined to aggress,
And needs of the poor people compress;

The causes are enough to depress,
And plunge them into deep distress;

There is no opportunity to express,
No whatsoever upon him to impress;

No help is extended by the press;
Never give in to those who oppress!

They may case you untold stress,
There is always a hope of success;

If you use right words to address,
The loving words, the tyrant caress.

If at first you don't succeed,
Try, try try again.:ballchain:

# 63.The recapture.

His family had long lived by agriculture, :llama:
But he yearned for a life of adventure;

In that struggle he lost his composure,
And ended up becoming a caricature.

By luck he met this man very mature, :nerd:
Who knew a lot about our culture.

He could also predict one's future!
They had a long chat at this juncture.

His words were indeed a long lecture :blabla:
Our hero's decision proved premature,

He decided his past life to recapture,
He happily returned to his agriculture.

O,love, love, love; Love is like a dizziness; :dizzy:

# 64. A real heiress!

She was born a real heiress,
And later became an actress.:drama:

Her profession made her an adulteress
She wished she had become an authoress;

Could have been an uncrowned empress,
Been to her readers a real enchantress;:typing:

She could well describe a seductress,
And in addition to it,also a sorceress;

Life had made her a temptress,
And a terrific fortune huntress,:popcorn:

She ended up becoming a mistress,
In her mind seething like a tigress!

Hoping and praying that there is no real person who would fit in all these descriptions!!!!
:pray:

you probably won't want. :crazy:

# 65. The rampage of arson.

Was he born in a garrison?
Or perhaps inside a prison? :doh:

He was nobody's Godson,
Nor anybody's grandson!

The constant comparison,
Turned his face crimson! :mmph:

He couldn't learn a lesson,
Nor would listen to reason!

It was always the season,
For indulging in treason; :ballchain:

All he needed was a mansion,
But roamed around like a bison;

If only he could jettison,
The fumes of mental poison, :suspicious:

He could become a good person,
A good mason-even if not a parson.

# 66. The dream to capture.

His dream was to capture, :photo:
Nature's lovely sculpture,

Through his camera's aperture!
At times he needed the fixtures!

The wonders seen in nature,
Proved to be a great pasture; :love:

And his dreams did nurture!
There was no unwanted gesture;

There was no need for a posture.
When excelled, the latest picture,:rapture:

He went into a holy rapture;
Or his ego felt a puncture.

# 67. The son of the soil.

There was this good son of the soil,
Who was well known for his hard toil;:ballchain:

Which none would dare to spoil,
Nor could anything really foil; :nono:

His aim was to produce cooking oil,
Which fried well when put to boil;

But he did in sheer terror recoil, :fear:
When his eyes fell on the black coil;

There was unmitigated embroil,
Which bordered excited turmoil; :rant:

Good thing it was on the top soil!!!
Had it hidden under the subsoil???

We'll to the woods no more,
The laurels are all cut. :sad:

The chestnut casts his flambeaux.:flame:

# 68. The Trill and The Thrill.

The gurgling sound of a rill,
The abundance of the brill;

The underwater tiny krill,
Add to the explorer's thrill.

The crescendo very shrill,
The captivating sweet trill;

Add beauty like a bunch of frill,
And enrich the listener's thrill.

# 69. The soldiers.

The army marched in a surge,
Like waves driven by an urge;

One could hear their onward forge,
Courage must have taken up charge;

Everything they did was in splurge,
The only way to eat was to gorge; :hungry:

Their servings had to be very large,
Drenched with a liberal use of Marge; :pizza:

Mentally they were ready to merge,
On their physical abilities' verge; :whoo:

Spiritually they wished to purge, :angel:
Is cleansing possible with spurge?

That all men are equal is a proposition to which
at ordinary times, no sane individual has ever
given his consent. :nono:

# 70. The whole wide world.

Here no one owns a patent,
It is a free and open tent; :welcome:

Those who are competent,

Conquer a greater extent;

Those who are very potent,

Feel in their mind content;

No one can estimate talent, :nono:

Which lies in a person, latent;

Those who work with intent,

Are those most consistent;

Those who remain persistent,

Will slowly become discontent;

Their work may be incompetent,
And the production intermittent; :bump2:

The world belongs to Omnipotent,

He has made everything existent;

Those who are inadvertent,

Are sure to feel penitent;

To those who remain insistent,

It might become a portent!

# 71. A Jail bird!

He was sent to the jail,
She tried to get his bail;

She did her best to hail :hail:
Her lawyer, but did fail;

Her face resembled a kail,
Her tears filled up a pail; :Cry:

She could not even mail, :typing:
His fate was under a nail;

She wished he had set assail,
And wisely tucked in his tail;

And not talked to the law rail! :rant:
Alas! Now she could only wail!

There is only one corner of the universe,
you can be certain of improving,
and that is your own self.:peace:

And flies, and talks and is extremely wise.:nerd:

[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]# 72. Nine lives...!

It saw its food in the bowl,
Its face turned into a scowl;

There was a fat plump fowl,
Sitting on top of the cowl;

Joy appeared on its jowl,
It wished to give out a howl;

It felt as wise as an owl,
And set out with a growl;

Like its cousin on its prowl,
Oh! It rough landed with a yowl.

[FONT=comic sans ms,sans-serif]# 73. The unwelcome welcome!

Everyone does into the world come,
Based on Karmic Cycle's outcome;

The fresh karmas form our income,
The seeds of our future they become;

There is no practical way to overcome,
The resulting births, very unwelcome!

To those who live well, life is welcome,
To the others, life is always unwelcome!
