The true aim of any parents is to make their children self sufficient and independent for life.
We have a lot to earn from the animals and birds. They care for their young ones and protect them endangering their own lives.
But when the young ones grow up and are ready to fend for themselves, the parents just let them go.
Only man wants to exercise his influence on the children life long. We can guide them but we should NEVER try to remote control them.

This is a complaint against me of late.

The poem thread is nearing ~ 1000 posts.
Isn't it too much to expect the newbies to dig up
the whole bunch of poems at one go?
Should they miss them since they had joined later?
The 2 marks fetched by a page long poem can be got by a reply consisting of just two words in any other thread.

I think there are multiple answers possible (I know of at least two). Also pl remember that no condition is given that two unknowns cannot have same value, for. eg. a =1; b = 1 may be possible.
Let me give a simple answer (without solving the problem) to keep the pot boiling:
a = 3.32; b = 1.25; c = 2.00; d = 0.90
