# 90. Haste makes waste?

He made his sudden movement,

He did not want to lose a moment;

He might draw an unkind comment;:gossip:

But that thing was in his element!

Was his venture an experiment?

Will it lead to an argument?
May be it will end in an agreement;:tea:

Did he need, as proof, a statement?

Did she deserve his treatment?

It was an astronomical payment!

He did not realize it in his excitement,

Was he, in her hands, an instrument?:ballchain:

Will it result in their engagement?

Or just in a painful embarrassment? :doh:

# 91. A real sport!

He was knee deep in export, lane:
His business was also to import;

While he was in the airport, :faint:
He had lost his passport.

This led to a clear report,
"He will have to deport!" :bolt:

But he was a real sport!! :thumb:
With his skills of rapport,

He could produce a purport,
As his I.D with their support!

# 92. The nasty majesty. :doh:

The King was downright nasty!

Not fit to be called,"Your Majesty!"
He had forgotten his dynasty,:llama:

He never bothered about honesty!

His mood was invariably lusty!

His body always pleasure thirsty!

He loved violating the girls' modesty.
No matter even if they were dusty.:whoo:

His actions were terribly hasty.

He found his hobby very tasty.

Did he use the power of amnesty

To pardon his own acts, frosty?

# 93. A career!

There was lot of money in beer!
This idea brought a loud cheer.

But the lad found it very queer,
All he did then was just sneer!:hand:

He wished to be a pioneer,
His family appeared to leer;

They spoke words of jeer,
But he started feeling freer!:bolt:

He wanted to volunteer,
His only aim was to steer,

And make his life veer,
As if he were quite a seer! :laser:

He wanted a fine career,
Wished to become an engineer,

Finally the boy's family's peer,
Gave in to his wishes sheer. :tea:

An Engineer was better than a buccaneer!
An Engineer was better than a marketeer!

An Engineer was better than a mutineer!
An Engineer was better than an auctioneer!

அப்பா தினமும் கோவிலுக்குப் போகச் சொல்கின்றார் என்று :whoo:
வேறு மதப் பெண்ணை காதல் கல்யாணம் செய்துகொண்டான்!:hug:

வம்புச் சண்டைக்குப் போகக் கூடாது

வந்த சண்டையை விடவும் கூடாது

என்று ஒரு மாமி கற்பித்தார்!

அந்த நிலையையும் தாண்டி

மன அமைதி இப்போதெல்லாம்!

பொருளை ஏற்காவிட்டால்அது

கொடுத்தவனையே சென்று அடையும்!

அடையட்டுமே! அவன் தந்தது!

அவனுக்கு செல்லட்டுமே! layball:

புத்தர் கற்றுத் தந்த பாடம்.

என் மருமகன் உள்ளங் கையைக்

குவித்து reflect செய்து விடுவான் :hand:

அவன் அண்ணனின் திட்டுக்களை எல்லாம்!

கோவில் கொலுவில் தன் வீட்டு பொம்மைகளைக்

கொண்டு வந்து வைத்தாள் என் சினேகிதி!

"உன் வீட்டுக் கொலுவில் வைக்கலாமே!" என்றால்

"அங்கே வைத்தால் யாருமே பார்ப்பதில்லை!

இங்கு தானே எல்லோரும் வருகின்றார்கள்!" out:

உண்மை தான்! கூட்டம் உள்ள இடத்தில்
கடை விரித்தால் தானே வியாபாரம் ஆகும்! :flock:

பொருளை வீட்டுக்குள்தொலைத்து விட்டு
அந்தத் தெரு விளக்கின் அடியில் ஒருவன், :flame:

"இங்கே தானே நிறைய வெளிச்சம் இருக்கு!"

என்று தேடியதும் நினைவுக்கு வருகின்றதே! :nod:

# 94. A Father and his son.

The father decided to straighten,
His son who neglected studies often;

The naughty boy would not listen,
He knew his father would soften;:hug:

Was it enough, him to threaten?:ballchain:
Pose to be strict and frighten?

Did he need also to be beaten? :whip:
Order impositions to be written?

The father decided to act rotten,
But as he went near he got smitten!

# 95. The Contract.

They were bound by a contract,
They had to remain in contact;

She failed now a days to attract, :bored:
And could not create any impact;

She tried his words to extract,
And make him with her interact;:argue:

Too many things did them distract,
But he had learned to counteract; :couch2:

To assure that their life was in tact,
And did not become a thing abstract! :smash:

Diverse, sheer opposite, antipodes.
The one pours out a balm upon the world,:smow:

Where's the cheek that doth not fade,
Too much gazed at? Where is the maid

He was from a country Western, lane:

Studying in a far off land Eastern;

Doing his allotted job as an intern, :roll:

Unhappy with the working pattern;
Which he found to be very stern, :whoo:

He wished for the freedom of a tern;

And spend some time at the lectern,

In the cool dim light of a lantern.

Was it due to the 7 years' itch?
He felt she had become a witch! :scared:

He very much wanted to ditch, :bolt:

And change his own life's pitch!

But he will never be able to switch!

Things were fixed by a strong hitch.:ballchain:

Despite her troubled heart's twitch,

She miserably failed him to bewitch! :bored:

அன்னம் இட்ட வீட்டில் கன்னம் இடுவது...

இவை மிகப் பழைய உதாரணங்கள்!

வேஷ்டி கட்டித் தமிழனாக உலவ விடுவதற்குத்

தில் வேண்டும்! நிறையவே இருக்கின்றது!

கம்பு சுற்றி காற்று 'வூடு' கட்டுவதுபோல
வார்தைகளிலேயே வீடு கட்ட ஒரு தில்

வேண்டும்! நிறையவே இருக்கின்றது.

மூவா எடுத்த ஊவேயை உண்டு மீண்டும்
தன்னுடையது போலே ஊரை ஏமாற்றி

வெளிக் கொண்டுவர ஒரு தில் வேண்டும்!

2. I am not sure about the respect Valluvar had for women but I DO KNOW how much respect any man - who is able to equate her to two of her body parts - has for her!

3. Sense of humor is the ability to see the funnier side of a difficult situation, recognize it and laugh at one's own idiosyncrasies!


4. In India, the faults of dead people are forgiven and forgotten and only the good they left behind is remembered. Nothing can be farther from the real sense of humor than
making people turn pale in their graves or heavenly abodes.

5. Where living people are HURT and made to feel bad wantonly - who can stop them from defiling those dead and gone?

6. If a person who thinks "prick your fingers" is DECENT enough to be posted ion the Forum says that something is VULGAR, then sky must be the limit of the vulgarity!
