I have created a document in Wikipedia.org for Tamil Brahmins. Please contribute to it. Search for Telugu Brahmins and see how they have organized it. We could do something similar or if you are willing, something even better.

Wikipedia needs Hindu editors who have knowledge of Hinduism and its practices. The articles at present reflect sectarian and mostly western point of view. There are not many editors from India. Those who are there are mostly from the IT profession.

Wikipedia needs Hindu editors with knowledge of Hinduism.

The article on Iyers have been repeatably vandalized by the anti-Brahmin groups. We need editors who can watch over the articles on Hinduism to prevent vandalism and also improve the content.

That notice is the reason why I want more volunteers. Actually this does not prevent older users from editing the article. Vandals are mostly new and unregistered users. But we have had problems in this article from the registered anti-Brahmin group.

This is a problem with many articles on Hinduism. Please register and check the articles on Hinduism. I am sure there are many members who can help in this effort.

Let me assure that contributing to Wikipedia is a satisfying experience. At times you do get frustrated because of the having to prove everything. But once you get the hang of it, you will love it.

There are many aspects of Hinduism which are not represented in Wikipedia.

One need not be an expert on Hinduism. You can also help by improving the grammar of the present articles.
