[Information Wanted] Performing Father's Annual shradda on a different day

My father's annaual shradda falls on 8th August and I will not be able to do it on that day. Can I do the shradda on a different day in October on the same thidhi. Your response is very much appreciated

You can't postpone the father's ceremony as per your convenience
This ceremony as perform on the same day no excuse

Not at all. Cermony cannot postponed. However some unavoidable circumstances say due to death of a family member it will get postponed
