Outcasts United is a delightful but poignant book. It is the story of a refugee soccer team coached by Luma Mufleh, an American-educated Jordanian woman. It tells the story of Luma (the coach), the refugees and their history and the story of the people of the town Clarkson (Georgia) where the refugees are relocated.
The book is very well written and any amount of meagre review will not do justice to this book.
