I would like to know how effective is online teaching(carnatic vocal) and who is organising the classes?

I am of the firm opinion that personal tuition is the best as there is energy flowing from a higher potential ( guru ) to the lower potential ( shishya ). But in this supposed to be modern age all poeple want to achieve many things within a short time. Online classes through communication sites like ICQ, Skype are being taken by many artistes for disciples in USA, UK , etc.. Even this , I feel, is effective only for vocal music and not much for instrumental music.

Where there is no possibility to have direct coaching whether it is vocal
or instrument, we have no other alternative but rather constrained to seek
the online coaching. As you say, direct coaching has its own merit and superiority.
