Many NRI are receiving false and threatening calls probably from India ( with Indian Ascent)
and it is on the increase.
These types of cases were reported to Local police in 2012, but again these have started.
Please advice your spouse and others , not to lift the phone and answer it unless the number from which the call is made is known to you; allow the call to go to Voice mail, and if such calls are received, please note down the number and it can be helpful while lodging complaint with the Local Police.
