[COLOR=#4B4B4B !important]Alappuzha: A KSEB engineer with several innovations to his credit has come up with a multi-functionary Android app that will alert you to the hazardous LPG leakage.
[COLOR=#4B4B4B !important]Baiju's App of K. C. Baiju of Cherthala here uses cost-effective and small-size sensors that can be easily attached to the headphone socket. While a person passes through a sensitive area, the app will send visual as well as audio alerts.
[COLOR=#4B4B4B !important]The app can also detect hazardous AC voltage without any physical contact, the ferrous material, infrared radiation and temperature status of electrical circuits and function as a breathalyzer. "The app is available on Google Play Store since February 21, and sensors will be made available in the market at a low price," he said.

He was selected for the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award last year.
