Hello everyone,
Hope you all are doing good. I want to know the vedic and historic details of the names MONISH and AARADHYA.
I tried to google and it gives few details which i feel not so clear.
Can somebody say the details if you know about it?

Manish is the Sanskrit spelling.
Monish is the Bengali colloquial effect on the word Manish.

The word is a feminine word spelled aa मनीषा ( manIshA)..stems from the root word man( mind).
In Sanskrit most words related to the mind and its functions are feminine in nature.
Having said that grammar gender its not actually related to biological gender so the name can be kept by both male and females.

manIshA has a range of meanings from wisdom,thought, mental reflection, idea, consideration.
