I have read translations of both and I am astounded to find how our dietray habits have changed fromthose days. The commentory on Yajanvalika Smriti by Vijineswara is of the 8th century AD.Not so far back. From meat and fish eaters to strict vegetarions. What a Transition. If any one is interested I will mail the chapter and verse numbers.
