Celestial wedding

The celestial wedding of Goddess Meenakshi with Lord Sundareshwarar was performed in a grand manner on Sunday at Sri Kailainathar Charitable Trust complex at Nanmangalam near Koilambakkam, a suburb of Chennai.
The special feature was the marriage was conceptualised in Namasankeertan form. The celestial wedding in divine musical was performed by Triplicane Panduranga Bhajanai Mandali.

Sivathodayamangalam, Geetha Sundaram Siva Ashtapathi, Siva Divyanama, Deepapradhakshana bhajans formed part of the Thirukalyana utsavam.
The event was organised by Sri Kailainathar Charitable Trust office-bearers, said Sivathiru Lakshmi Narayanan, an office-bearer of the trust.
The marriage was marked by kannoonjal, nalangu, thirumangalyatharanam, seervagaigal and thamboolam.
