SIR - were orthodox temples built by our ancestors & forefathers for these tamil film makers to film their erotic vomits? will sundar.c 'present' husband of khusboo answer??? ever since 'parasakthi' AVM poiappa err...sorry..meiappa chettiar, which showed an orthodox priest trying to rape a female devotee inside temple premises, tamil films are always showing orthodox hinduism in poor light. the habit of potraying bramins in an offensive manner, even by bramins themselves, is not there in films of any other language any where in the world.this is there only in taml films, because taml films are dominated by the 'rationalists' like the muthuvelar, late c.n. annadurai (who called himself as 'perarignar'), the 'haasa', the k.b. chander and sundry.

in the film 'indian'with dialogues by porn prince sujatha, the character of 2nd heroine played by urmila always mouths adult jokes in public in front of men also! what cheap & vulgar mentality for this sujatha!!!

i think 'crazy'mohan should be called as 'blade' mohan for his stale, repetitive , saturated comedy!

a few months back somewhere around nanganallur, i saw a youth wearing a T shirt with the late great muthuramalinga thevar's face inscribed on it! the fellow ,it seems was a member of a caste outfit called 'DEVAR' PERAVAI. i could hear him speaking to his friends near by that 'vairamuthu devar will become chief minister of t.nadu one day, and vivek devar would be deputy chief minister!'. i could smell the fellow was in a state of booze.

look how much cinema has corrupted the minds of people.

Kashyap, I too agree with most of Suresh's points. But when he relates everything under the sun to veg., KB, porn, it tends to get a little monotonous. And the member who ran away in haste has posted a thing or two in one of Suresh's threads, don't remember which one, though. Look it up.

sir - this is a thread about tamil cinema. so all the postings in this thread will naturally be about tamil cinema and naturally the likes of k.haasa, KB. chander etc., cannot be kept out completely.(particularly because the title also says 'maanam ketta' i.e. shameless-so naturally the 'haasa' will be there throughout!). of the almost 100 threads in this forum, i am dominant in only 1 forum. there are so many forums where i am totally absent. there are many forums where i have only token presence! so where is the question of 'spamming' or being there all over the forum??

BTW this will not be a permanent thread like a mega serial. this will be only for a short period!!!

sir - this actor, though a bramin, calls himself a 'rationalist'. the fellow lost his mother at an early age. he failed in his studies also totally.neglected by his own family, the fellow took to films at an early age. the fellow fell in wrong company and learnt all bad habits. to mend the fellow , his father married him off to an orthodox bramin at a very early age. but the fellow was unable to produce any issues out of the marriage. the fellow was ridiculed as an eunuch by fans of his rival actors. to prove that he is masculine, and to boost his prospects in hindi films, the fellow betrayed his own wife, and committed adultery with a hindi actress and produced 2 children with this hindi actress, without marrying her! but this hindi actress also left the fellow & went back to mumbai, from where she eloped with the fellow! the fellow is reportedly contemplating 3rd marriage now. the reason - his ist marriage earned him a govt. award at national level. his 2nd marriage earned him 2 more awards at national level. the fellow is said to be superstitious that if he marries a 3rd time, he could get 3 more awards at national level!!!!!

this actress is in a way follower of the periar, as she already has 3 husbands! her 'present' husband is a fellow who calls himself 'supreme star'. the actress has lucrative contracts worth crores of rupees with a private television channel owned by a political party. even when she was with a rival party, the actress continued her 'association' with this private channel. this adultery has enraged the leader of her party, and she has been expelled for anti party activities!!!!!

matter of fact, it seems expect for an actor well known as 'super star' almost all of the others do not have a creditable record in sexual matters. had censors been strict, most of the producers will be out of films! how these filmmakers 'tackle' censors, how they get their films 'certified' inspite of so much , sex, violence & offensive potrayal of bramins - all in blatant violation of censor rules & regulations - is a mystery.it is the biggest hidden secret of tamil cinema! it is said whenever a tamil film is completed, at least one women who works in the film forfeits her chastity.

sir - i suspect if i name them, it could be very embrassing for moderators of this forum. that apart it is not necessary for anyone to read trash journals like nakeeran to know about filmi gossips. almost all journals from 'vikatan', 'kumudam' to the so called national newspaper 'the hindu' with the
honourable exception of 'thuglak' publish masala news.

this fellow an uneducated bramin actor cum director, lost his wife due to jaundice in mid 1980s. but within few weeks of this bereavement, the fellow fell in love with a bramin actress & married her. but the family of the actress never accepted the marriage. suffering from inferiority complex, the fellow abused bramin women in a film called 'this is our fellow'. the fellow potrayed a bramin women desparately chasing a non bramin hero, played by the fellow himself! the fellow picturised a vulgar song on the heroine , showing the herione dancing in the holy 'madisaar' saree in an erotic way. 'somehow' the fellow got the film 'certified' by the censors. the film, unfortunately was a big hit. but inspite of this the fellows fortunes nosedived as his other films flopped and the fellow was soon out of the industry! the fellow attempted to introduce his son and daughter, but both of them flopped too! the fellow directed a film called 'pure gold' about 4 yrs. back which was a big flop. the producer of the film committed suicide. the ist & 3rd heriones of the film too died unfortunate deaths thereafter. having flopped in films totally, the fellow took to politics. first he joined the party headed by "JJ". but there was no 'gain' to the fellow because of this. so the fellow defected to the party headed by 'leader of the entire tamil race'. the fellow has been abusing his opponents and contributing his mite to pollute the already dirty t.nad politics!!!

Regarding this actor-cum-director, K.pakkiaraj, I don't think his second wife's family did anything wrong to him or protested their marriage. But after having married a brahmin woman , he went on to villify the community.
I wonder why this actor-cum-director's wife - a brahmin - did not protest his movie done in bad taste on her community. It is a mystery how she did not find his bad characters before marrying him. It is a mystery too as to what good she found in him using her intelligence?
Why did she not walk away from the director protesting the sick way he had portrayed her brothers and sisters in the movie?

BTW a similar such case in kannada movies is Nagattihalli chandrasekhar who in most of his movies portrays brahmins in a very bad light.
When an interviewer asked him -- "why do you hate Brahmins?" ,
He said "no in fact my wife is a brahmin and their family did not protest our marriage at all".
What a cranky answer!!
So what do you make out of this? This kind of violence I think can only be perpeterated against brahmins and no one would protest it - not even the brahmin women in their lives and supposed to be the better half. I wonder why these women marry such people and why they do not have the intelligence to spot such crooks upfront or atleast the spine to protest and walk away. I wish no brahmin woman in future commit such mistakes and see through the evil designs of such people early enough.

sir - so you have let the cat out of the bag! actually i would have named these guys but i think it is perhaps below our dignity to even type the names of these fellows once too often. let these bramin women marrying non bramin males be damned. who cares about them? it is the censors who should have been vigilant enough and refused to certify these sort of films unless the offensive scenes are removed. i wonder what the censors 'got' in 'return' for certifying these sort of films!

but you have not named the actress, whose 'current' husband calls himself as 'supreme' star!

the actress who played the erotic role of an orthodox bramin women in the film i have mentioned is called 'shobana'. she should actually be called 'SHOW'BANA because she has showed her body below navel in that film, that too after wearing the holy 'madisaar' a dress worn only by married bramin women. this 'show'bana is a relative of the late great actress padmini. i suspect ms. padmini would have lambasted her after seeing this film, because after this the 'show'bana did not do much of 'show'ing her body!!!

BTW, you mentioned names openly, so i have also followed suit. in future, i will not mention names of actors or actresses myself. but if somebody spills the beans i will also join the bandwagon!!!!!

I went through this thread and was surprised at some of the arguments raised against certain artists, who are the gems of Tamilnadu.If we make out a list of the great artists of 20th century in India,his name will defenitely be there in the second place.K.Bagyaraj is the greatest screenplay writer in Tamilcinema,if not in Indian cinema.

And yet the main 'accusations' levied against them were that 'they married twice,thrice' were 'immoral' and propogated 'sexuality in their movies'

coming to the important issue of portrayal of brahmins in movies,I believe that the main problem is that brahmins are easily identifiable by their appearance and accent.Further the same accusations are levied by muslims against movies, that they are always shown as terrorists and as hindu men marrying their women in movies.Manirathnam showed a burkah clad woman running in :becky: way in 'bombay' and in that movie she ended up marrying a hindu and produced hindu offsprings.For this 'offense' even some bombs were thrown in manirathnam's house.In another famous hindi movie produced by zee films, a sikh boy will fall in love with a pakistani muslim girl and marry her.It will be shown that pakistani muslim community opposes this very strongly and barbarically.

One has to think about how devars are shown in movies.They will be shown as people with big moustaches,with sickles in their hands,as being casteist and hooligans.Even the hero will be shown as a violent but good natured devar.Somehow I have never seen devars protesting against this portrayal.

Historically women of some races were hailed as beautiful by the community. Blondes in the west and north indian and brahmin women in south. Many dalits even name the fairest girl child in their name as "papathi'. So it is no wonder that north indian heroines succeed in tamil movies and brahmin women are shown as heroines in tamil movies.I dont see anything wrong here.

the story was supposedly told by Ramba and written by someone else. She has mentioned about action king??? arjun (who had fun with both the actress and her mom, also mentioned are the dirty things happened during her first movie chengkottai), karthik (happenings during the movie - ullathai allithaa)...., sathiyaraj (the person who intentionally gave chances to old actresses, k.r. vijaya (who gave the actress a party after ullathai allitha's success).
