Google announced Android Wear a year back, and since then it has become the platform of choice and has brought some normalcy to a market fragmented with different hardware, different Operating Systems and different ecosystems.
Android Wear Smartwatches have ranged from cheap to elegant, from the G Watch to the Moto 360 to the G Watch R. There is something for everyone. But if you wanted a luxury Smartwatch, the only thing that came close was the Moto 360.
The G Watch R looked great, but had a more sporty vibe to it. Now, LG is adding another Smartwatch to its collection with the G Watch Urbane, its first luxury Smartwatch.
It is made from stainless steel and has a leather band, making it a premium Smartwatch. Coming to the specs, nothing is out of the ordinary with a 1.3inch 320x320px screen along with a 1.2 Ghz quad-Core Snapdragon 400 Processor and 512MB of RAM.
Powering it all is a 410mAH Battery. As we can see, all that separates it from the rest is the stunning design, which is more compact than the G Watch R.
We don’t know how much it would cost. It’s price will be announced at MWC 2015.
What do you think? Is this the Smartwatch you have been waiting for?
