Lesson from Shishupala Vadha

There is a saying which says even amrit becomes poison when taken beyond a limit. The Sisupala story is one way of showing a discrete way in which divinity, in this case Krishna, keeps count of one's atrocities, and pays back when the line has been crossed.

The Divine's overlooking of acts abuse to His person is a natural outcome; A father ignores the taunts of his child, Similarly Divine gives His children long rope, yet if individual is truly beyond redemption, then comes the sword as in the case of Shishupala!
