Tamil Nadu is to have this again moved by DMK. I remember that DMK was against L. council and made the following remark when Rajaji become CM
entering via L. council " புழக்கடை வழியா புகுந்தார்" . What is the purpose of reviving it? Jambu:evil:

dmk does things,as it when it suits them.they are law unto themselves,and if anyone crosses their way,they will be sun-burned as per their party symbol.rajaji's kula kalvi thittam,is being followed selectively,so as,to let his,second wife's son's becoe cm,central minister,and third wife's only daughter to become cm also from dmk.so,competetion is encouraged superficially,while the party is totally controlled by a select clique.this is the most totalitarian party,followe by another eccentric party aiadmk,whose leader has lost her marbles and whatever is left,is good for crackpots.at least there life outside of these two parties in tn,so lc is good way of circumventing loopholes in the state politics,for leaders who do not hae enuff cahrisma to be elected on their own foot.

Legislative council

Once upon a time it used to be a council comprising of erudite
men in different disciplines, freedom fighters and highly cultured
men in order to offer wise counsel.

Now, it suits DMK to bring it back in order to have their nominees
in the council in greater numbers. You cant expect anything
better from these people when even the central cabinet consists
of alleged murderers, men of doubtful character, experts in poll-
rigging and such other specimens ! It is really a curse.

What a great fall causing pain to the old-timers who have
sacrificed a lot for freedom and for ushering in true socialism.
Late MK Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, Hiren Mukherjee, SP Mukherjee,
Rajaji, Kamaraj , Rajendra Prasad, LB Sashtri , Dange and others
might be turning in their graves at this sharp decline in values.
