I have seen some mAmis placing the coffee 'davarA tumbler' set with a grumpy face, on the center table kept in front of the mAmA.

If the mAma doesnt know how to remove the grumpy face͵ why the hell did he marry? At the same time͵ if the mAmi is grumbling at every moment͵ then he cannot be blamed for running away. It is a delicate balance.

Why don't the Mama's learn to prepare a degree coffee so that when Athukkari is sick they can serve her piping & frothy hot coffee at least once and remove the taint!

They too will get into good books of the Athukkari and all the snide remarks will get wiped off for ever!
