i came to know thro somebodythat my fatjer's brother's wife ( Chithi)_ passed away; as the son is not in talking terms with me i may not get the details of 10 th day; But i want to do Kuzhi tharpanam on the tenth day togetrid of the Theettu; Normally it can be done at the place where Kariyam is performed or Public places like Gyanavabhi; Now all public places are closed closed and no rituals are done due to Pandemic;If the kartha decides to do the karma at a place faraway from my residence i may not be able to attend the karma and do kuzhi tharppanam; un der such circumstances i may miss Kuzhitharppanam on 1oth day; if so what is the next alternative? can i do it on any day when i visit places loke Rameswaram? Pl. clarify

sir, you can do in your house on tenth day. not inside your house. you can do out side in your house . in car shed or open space for plants. Take bath and do tharpanam and again take bath and then go inside your house. there is no change in iyer and iyengar rituals for this kuzhi tharpanam.

Thank q for yr. response; i am residing in an apartment and hence i cannot do this as sugested by you either in car shed or in the terrace; any other pariharam for skipping the kuzhi tharpanam on the 10 th day due to circumstance beyond our control
