Hi All,

Recently we went to visit our kuladeivam dharmasastha at vadakku paapankulam near nanguneri.

This pappankulam village some 300 years back was full of brahmins (hence name paapan kulam) but now no trace of brahmin people here. villagers here says that some brahmins visit here regularly

Just curious to know if anyone here have this dharmasastha as kuladeivam

Regards

I have heard about this temple and as you say, the Nambudiri can be requested to
extend the necessary help before going to that place. My friend is from Tirunelveli.
They used to visit a Sastha Temple at Ponnum Peruvembudaiyar on the bank of
the river Nambiyaru. He used to say that this was temple under the jurisdiction
of Trivangore Maharaja those days and it is a prominent temple. Since Sastha is
their family deity, he used to visit another temple at Thamaramkulangara Sree
Dharmasastha Temple at Valliyur, near Nanguneri.
