My younger brother had an untimely death due to covid and today is 17th day. But 11th to 13th day functions could not be done due to pandemic. Only after Corona gets over, those 3-day functions can be done.
Can we start putting kolam outside our home?
The reason is to mourn the loss. Kolam is an invisible welcome mat for all. So, if they come to invite you for some celebrations, you have to explian to them. The absence of Kolam (in Tamilnadu) indicates that the family is mourning (does not matter for whom).
