Respectable members, Greetings.

I stumbled upon this short film very recently. Someone gives alms to Karnan!.... very touching short film.

YouTube - ‪Karna Motcham - Part 1 - National award winning short film‬‏

(Kindly find part 2 in the right side menu, please).

His son's imagination with a non-functioning cell phone... talking to Tendulkar and Pepsi Viji (?).....

His nostalgia, grivances and grandiose delusions...... and accepting alms! Ironic background 'koothu songs' add the weight of thesituation. Great short film.

Cheers!

Dear Shri. Raghy

Thanks for the link. I watched this movie just now and it is indeed very touching.

Accepting alms - the food - yes, but the money (one rupee coin) at the end - I think that was meant to be the 'Guru Thatchanai' from the girl, since she performs the step of 'salutation to the master' after giving the money!

Kind regards
