Karikal Choza, the most famous ancient choza king constructed a yagna kunda in the shape of an eagle according to the Vedic custom- says poet of the Purananuru verse 224.

Karikalan walked seven steps before seeing off his guest according to Rig Vedic custom -says Porunar Atrup Padai line 166.
