Ingredients
- 1 medium karela, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of sugar
Method
- Apply salt on karela and keep aside for 10 mins
- Squeeze the water slightly out of it
- Take oil in a vessel, saute karela slices till golden brown
- Then add onions and saute till pink
- Add tomato and all other ingredients and cook till done
- Serve with roti
