Can any member clarify regarding the correct loaction of there two jotirlingas
1.Vaidynatham both Maharashtra and Bihar lay a claim
2, Naageswar both Mahrashtra and Uttar Pradesh lay a claim
I feel Vaidyanatham in Bihar is correct.
..every king did what he wanted, unless and untill the gurus intervened to set matters right...
many kings did what they wanted, despite any guru or any one's intervension to do their liking...
For your info there is only one recognised Jyotirlinga in Tamil Nadu at Rameswaramhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyotirlinga
while there is controversy, but in Tamizh Nadu itself, all the dwadasa-jyothirlingam can be identified.these sort of discrepancies exist becoz ,every king did what he wanted, unless and untill the gurus intervened to set matters right.nowadays,a degree from a reputed institute,is the, certifying authority on scripture, unlike how it was during guru-shishya parampara of india.its laughable that adi-sankara needs certifying from scholars, who are nothing but bums.
