Justice V.R.Krishna Iyer concludes his article in The Hindu Dated April 12 Page12 as follows .Those who know the law will ask whether the Indian Penal Code is in coma Penal law must begin functioning against the robed brethren .Be you ever so high, you the judge is not above law. These remarks are made in connection with Justice Dhinakaran's transfer as chief justice of Sikkim High Court This is posted for further discussions. Jambu:fish2:

A judge is unfit to be elevated to Supreme Court, can continue as Chief Justice of a High Court. A judge who is prima facie found guilty can be transferred to another court, without any change in his assignment or rank. In other words, if Dinakaran is found unfit to be the Chief Justice of Bangalore High Court, how can he function as Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court? Do not Sikkim people deserve an honest and upright judge in their state?

The logic and rationale adopted by Supreme Court has certainly lowered its dignity.

supreme court verdict is final,as otherwise whats the meaning of supreme?

How long it would take for government to know and tell the facts to the public in this case? Perhaps they do not want to tell. It seems the purpose of all governments is to enact laws and then go about circumventing all of them. 'Satyameva Jayate'.

Law or Dharma

For me Sankaracharya is still a Acharya, no matter how he is framed in public or by court of law. The Acharya also could have done some thing against law but I still would say as guardian of Dharma.
The question that many fail to ask is as to why there is a witch hunting on Justice Dhinakaran? Why is he framed in a similar manner as Dr.JJ is framed regards her property in Payyanoor?
