Dear Shri Muralidharan,

The idea of locating old, remote and neglected temples is a good idea only if there can be a sustained plan to rejuvenate these temples and make them economically self-reliant. But then I think HR&CE will take away such temples.

Today, hindu temples are common worship places for all the castes under hindus. I don't know whether the concerned local communities (which may be of any caste or might have even become alienated from hinduism through conversion) will welcome your project in all cases.

Thirdly, do we really require more and more temples or is it better to have a few excellent, well-maintained and clean temples so that our hindu community people will learn some civic responsibilities, a better idea?

I suggest that you may think this over.
