This is the BMW C1-E. You might recognise it. In the late-90s BMW produced a scooter with a roof called a C1.
It had a seat belt, windscreen wiper and roll cage, and was exceptionally safe for a two-wheeler.
In Europe, riders didn't need a helmet but in the UK they did, which ruined sales.
BMW has resurrected the C1 and fitted an electric motor. It's only a concept but looks like perfect inner- city transport.
BMW would be mad not to make it.

Madam,
This scooter of BMW is really superb in style:thumb:. Hope the roof will not serve any purpose for Sing. Chennaivasis, to protect themselves from 'North East Monsoon'.
